a big THANK YOU

Dear Friends and family,

We are overwhelmed with gratitude with the great responses we have received in our fundraiser to bring a soldier home for Matthews first birthday. We cannot express how much love and compassion we feel.
May your holiday season be filled with love, happiness, and joy. May you know and feel our Saviors love. Once again a big thank you!

Matthew and I have been in Florida for almost a month now. After three weeks by myself the extra hands have been appreciated. When we first arrived all I was good for was diaper changes, feedings, and sleep. Matthew grandparents and Aunt and Uncles have spoiled him with love and cuddles.

The first weekend here, mom and dad brought Matthew and I to the beach (Matthew's first visit)! He really was unsure of the sun and did not like the water on his toes. So, after some fun in the water with me and grandpa he headed to the shore to cuddle up with grandma.

Auntie Ashlee and grandpa love Matthew. They often cuddle with him and play with him. Matthew loves flirting with his Auntie.

Uncle Codey and Jordan love talking to Matthew. Codey got Matthew a super cute Sunday outfit (doesn't quite fit him yet but, it will soon).

Matthew and I have really enjoyed our visit.

Our family is beginning a new journey. One that we expected, just never knew when it might happen. As we have gotten to meet people, create wonderful friendships, and call many of you family; Curtis and I have decided to put together a family blog to keep in touch with you all, give you family updates, and share our exciting news through out the years.

As many of you know Curtis is headed overseas while I move to Florida with Matthew to have to support of my parents. What you probably do not know is that we will be stationed in Ft. Campbell after Curtis's  PCS.

We are excited and nervous about the big move but, happy to be closer to family. Curtis likes to say, "We are kind of in the center of everything." As a family we hope to travel and visit several church sites, participate in outdoor activities, eat true TN bbq, and visit some of our close by relatives.

We look forward to sharing our experiences and good news with all our friends and family.
